Cancellation Policy
1. Cancellation During the Free Trial Period
You can cancel your subscription at any time while the free trial is active.
If you cancel during the trial period:
- Your access to the TalosFamily service will end immediately.
- No paid subscription will begin.
- You will not be charged any fees.
- No further payments will be charged for this subscription.
The free trial period lasts 7 days.
2. Subscription after the free trial period
Unless you cancel before the end of the 7-day trial period, your paid subscription will automatically begin at the end of the trial period.
At that time, the payment method you provided during registration will be charged based on the subscription period you selected—for example, for one month or one year.
The current price, billing period, and renewal terms will be displayed before you confirm your subscription.
3. Right to Cancel Within 14 Days
Consumers generally have a statutory right of withdrawal for 14 days from the date the contract is concluded, provided that the statutory requirements are met.
The 7-day free trial does not shorten the statutory right of withdrawal.
If you cancel the contract after the free trial period has ended but still within the 14-day cancellation period, the first 7 days remain free.
Provided that the legal requirements for compensation are met, only the paid use that has already taken place from the 8th day until the date of cancellation may be charged on a pro-rata basis.
Example: If you cancel the contract on the 10th day, the first 7 days remain free of charge. Therefore, in principle, only 3 days of paid use can be taken into account, provided that the legal requirements for compensation for lost value are met.
There is no flat-rate deduction for the entire 7-day trial period.
4. Cancellation of an Active Paid Subscription
You can cancel an active subscription at any time.
The cancellation will take effect at the end of the current paid billing period. You may continue to use the service until the end of this period.
Once the cancellation takes effect, no further subscription periods will be billed.
Payments already made for the current billing period are generally not refundable, unless there is a legal right to a refund or cancellation.
5. Automatic Renewal
Paid subscriptions are automatically renewed for the selected billing period unless they are canceled before the respective renewal date.
If the subscription is renewed, the applicable subscription fee will be charged via the payment method linked to the customer's account.
6. How to Cancel or Revoke
You can cancel your subscription through your customer account or your dashboard on the TalosFamily website.
Alternatively, you can contact TalosFamily customer support at:
Your cancellation or revocation request must clearly identify the account in question or the email address associated with the subscription.
7. Confirmation of Cancellation or Revocation
After you cancel, you will receive a confirmation via email.
If you cancel during the free trial period, the email will confirm that your access has been terminated and that you will not be charged for the subscription.
For an active paid subscription, the confirmation includes the date on which the subscription and access to the service end.
If you exercise your right of withdrawal within the statutory 14-day withdrawal period, you will also receive a confirmation. If a pro-rata refund is legally permissible, only the usage subject to a fee from the 8th day until the date of withdrawal will be taken into account.
