How to Connect to WireGuard VPN Using Config File & QR Code (iOS, Android & Windows)

In today’s digital world, securing your internet connection is more important than ever. WireGuard is one of the fastest, simplest, and most secure VPN protocols available. Whether you’re protecting your privacy, accessing geo-restricted content, or securing your connection on public Wi-Fi, WireGuard makes it incredibly easy.

In this guide, we’ll show you step-by-step how to connect using a .conf file or QR code on iOS, Android, and Windows.

What You’ll Need

• A WireGuard configuration file (.conf) or QR code , We delivery the files into your Email account after your purchase. 
• The official WireGuard app for your device
• Internet connection

1. iOS (iPhone & iPad)

1. Open the App Store and search for "WireGuard" (official app by WireGuard Development Team).
2. Install and open the app.
3. Tap the + icon in the top right corner.
4. Choose one of the following:
   • Create from QR code → Point your camera at the QR code and scan it.
   • Create from file or archive → Select your downloaded .conf file.
5. Give the tunnel a name (e.g., “My Germany VPN”) and tap Save.
6. Toggle the switch next to the tunnel to connect.

Tip: You can add multiple tunnels and switch between them easily.

2. Android

1. Open the Google Play Store and install WireGuard (official app).
2. Open the app and tap the + button (usually bottom right).
3. Select:
   • Scan from QR code → Scan the provided QR code.
   • Import from file or archive → Choose your .conf file.
4. Enter a name for the tunnel and tap Create.
5. Tap the toggle to activate the VPN.

Note: Android may ask for VPN permission — grant it.

3. Windows

1. Go to the official WireGuard website: https://www.wireguard.com/install
2. Download and install the Windows client.
3. Open the WireGuard app.
4. Click Import tunnel(s) from file in the bottom left.
5. Select your .conf configuration file.
6. Click Activate to connect.

You can also right-click the WireGuard icon in the system tray for quick connect/disconnect.

Pro Tips for Best Performance

• Always download your config file or QR code over a secure connection.
• Name your tunnels clearly (e.g., “Germany – Frankfurt”, “Netherlands”).
• Enable Kill Switch (if available in the app) to prevent leaks if the VPN drops.
• For mobile devices, QR code is the fastest method.
